For large diameters up to 2000 mm and short product lengths
This machine type is suitable for large single products. Diameters up to 2000 mm with relatively short lengths (several hundred mm) with a unit weight of up to 4 tons are possible.
- withdrawing of the product
These machines are operated manually (cleaning, heating, coating, handling of tools and castings) and are predestined for the manufacture of raw castings for bearing cages. The use of different materials is also possible.
- casting with crane pouring ladle
The liquid melt is transported to the machine in crane casting ladles and poured into the rotating mould through a specifically constructed pouring spout.
Horizontal or vertical centrifugation axis?
The horizontal arrangement of the centrifugation axis results in a cylindrical inside contour and therefore an inferior machining allowance compared to a vertical arrangement. Considering the elevated unit weights and dimensions which are produced on these machines, this is decisive as there is a tremendous saving potential.

For the safety of the operation staff, this machine type disposes of a particularly massive support construction and sprayboards. The sprayboards reach down to the floor so no spatters of liquid melt can come through. Depending on the operation, the sprayboard can only be opened during standstill or at low rotational speed.
For larger diameters, this plant type is equipped with a pneumatic disc brake so the machine, with the casting, can be stopped within seconds.
